Strangely enough, or rather, as it always seems to be the case, despite the long hours on exercise (and even in the midst of exercise) it has been quite fun. At least I must say with the syndicate mates that i had (they shuffled the syndicates today after 4 weeks and everyone has been in a bad mood since) the course has been quite enjoyable and has brightened my days since commissioning quite abit. I must admit that unit life had gotten quite boring and to be honest, except for 1 or 2 of the officers in my unit, life has been quite boring. Being on course has totally shaken things up positively.
I have to say I'm quite happy to have met these bunch of guys, the 3 of you (excluding russell for obvious reasons) you guys are a really awesome bunch of friends and especially jk who is really one hell of a friend. I'm quite looking forward to Taiwan even though its gonna be sleepless nights planning and more planning out in the field.
I'm glad this course has happened. In some ways i have learnt more about myself as a person. Being placed into uncomfortable and unfamiliar situations has helped me realise more about where i can improve upon both as a person and as a leader and in public speaking.
I've been having some thoughts lately about the dynamics of certain groups of friends that have become rather boring and predictable. Well it may not be bad, it certainly isnt what is used to be. Maybe we meet up too much, or maybe we just keep doing boring stuff and not trying exciting new things. Or maybe certain people within are just affecting boredom intothe group haha. Oh well, more analysis required eh!
On another note. 100 day countdown begins. #100.
